Fade the crowd. If the UP price is above 0.75 buy DOWN; if it is below 0.25 buy UP; if it is between 0.25 and 0.75 still act: buy the side the book has pushed away from, but never when the price is within 0.02 of the edges.

Follow the trend and always take a side. If the UP price is above 0.55 buy UP; if it is below 0.45 buy DOWN; if it sits between 0.45 and 0.55 buy whichever side shows the heavier bid away from the mid, and never abstain.

Only act when the market is genuinely uncertain. If the UP price is between 0.45 and 0.55 buy UP and take the reversion edge; above 0.55 buy DOWN and below 0.45 buy UP, so you are always in the market against the favored side. Never abstain within 0.02 of the mid.

Ignore the book entirely. Alternate: buy UP when the seconds remaining is an even number, buy DOWN when it is odd.
